The paintings of Anna Maria Brucato Sarzana to Residenza Wagner

Paintings by Anna Maria Brucato Sarzana

Residenza Wagner is also an author’s home

In public areas of our b & b we have exposed the paintings of the famous painter of international fame Palermitana Anna Maria Brucato Sarzana

The pictures are all made with a rare and extremely difficult technique of glass or plexiglass support.
The painter has made all of his paintings with oil paint on the back of the stand, then painting a mirror and “negative image” than that then visible from the viewer’s perspective.

The artist in his paintings, with stretch to Van Gogh, manages to capture and present the radiance and majesty of the multiple forms and infinite palette of colors of the Sicilian landscapes.

Ms. Brucato began his work as a painter in 1972 and is still active at his studio in Palermo. During a long career he has received the greatest praise from the likes of Pierre Thomas art critics, Roberto Patricolo, Nino Ferraù, Lucio Barbera, Giovanni Cappuzzo, Carmen Martinelli, Mauro Donini, Giuseppe Mugnone, Giuseppe Servello, Richard Campanella, Sergio Troisi, Francesco Carbone and many others, as well as being reviewed by many national newspapers such as “The century of Italy”, “Il Giornale”, “The Illustrated Gazzettino”, “Il Giornale di Sicilia” and many others.
